Private Flat in City Centre with Parking

Old building nicely renovated inside. On 2 floors

I have a 5 meter car x 2 meter wide. It was a pain to park it in a very limited space. The area in which the house is situated reminded me very much of my student days in Southampton 50 years ago. This flat is obviously the private abode of the owner ( a very enterprising young man!)

Property was really clean and tidy

The fridge was switched off at the wall , we didn’t know, put our food in there and the melted ice from the freezer was dripping all over our food…

Comfortable, clean, and had everything that we needed for our stay.

Driveway leading up to the rear car park was very tight, especially if you're in a big car.

Everything was fine. Just some very minor details that can be forgiven for the price. Black pit curtains on the bedroom a just.

The dirty washing up cloth. That was it. .

Well set out flat with good sized rooms (bathroom and bedroom both large). Work space in bedroom useful though we didn't use it

The bed was a bit hard for us but totally a matter of personal preference there

I come to Southampton about once a month for work and have stayed in various B&Bs across the city in the last few years. This was, by far, the nicest relative to the price. My stay was cosy, homey and I felt very well catered for with everything I needed to rest and relax before work the next day. I only regret that this shining review may make it more difficult to book another stay in future!
