If I could rate this property and location 20/10 I would. It was quite simply exceptional. Massimo was the perfect host and the house was incredible. Everything was so clean and modern with all the facilities we could have needed. It was perfect for our family of 4 with 2 teenagers. The view from the terrace was spectacular. We wish we could’ve stayed longer.

Amazing location. Beautiful private villa. Has very comfortable beds, beautiful new bathrooms, excellent kitchen and laundry facilities. Two bedrooms upstairs and a third walk in closet with couch. One bedroom downstairs. Fridge is stocked with beverages, wine, limoncello, milk, yogurt, cash purchase only. Massimo the host is incredible gracious and thorough in explaining the villa and surrounding area. It is a 1.5 mile walk to Varenna center which is easily done if you are prepared & there are several local taxi services. We knew this on arrival and actually preferred to stay out of town. The garden and patio are near a slightly wooded area and the lake, mountains, and bird song in the morning was idyllic and peaceful. Incredible place!

Absolutely beautiful view and home

This was the most amazing stay. The house is beautifully laid out. The beds super high quality and comfy. Loved the terrace! Lots of little extras such as Massimo keeps a beverage fridge for purchase of items. Not something we used but for someone coming in late and needing milk, water, prosecco or something - so so nice to have. bathtub is deep and divine - with ample hot water. Massimo is available and responsive - we hope to return in a year or two. WONDERFUL! You’ll need a rental car- don’t get one that is too big and it will be easier to park in garage. We took an upgrade at Hertz to a small SUV - mistake to have at this property and frankly …..everywhere. So consider this when choosing a car. We had a 4 night stay and got better at backing our monster car into the parking spot over the 4 days LOL. There is a great and large supermarket just 10 minutes down the road so super easy to shop. Even though we splurged on this house for two people (and enjoyed our own room for a few nights on our 17 day trip), we saved money by making our dinner each evening which was a great offset. The kitchen has everything you need! Can’t say enough about this property - SUPERB!

Just get a reasonably sized car. The garage is tight.

The location was beautiful and the terrace had spectacular views. Everything was exactly as pictured when we booked. Our host was amazing !

Vista spettacolare

Amazing views and Massimo always available to assist us. The house very modern and comfortable. The area is very quiet which was perfect as Varenna is so busy and noisy. Off street parking was crucial as there is nearly nothing in Varenna.
