Dog Friendly Glamping Pods with Hot Tubs

The pod was decent itself (not the bed, the bed was dreadful) but the rest of the pod was nice

The whole place was run down, clearly the owners just don’t care about it. The cooking facilities were a disgrace, so dirty, grimy and not cleaned since the last people. As soon as have paid and you arrive no communication from anyone just forgotten about and phone answered any messages or phone call. No wood so can’t use the hot tub (which was a basic facility for the venue). Bed was horrible to sleep in with an old used springy mattress. BBQ pit which was advertised in the facilities was basically an ash tray, there were about 50 fag butts in the bbq so couldn’t cook. Most people left either than night or straight away in the morning because of how shocking the place was. Photo attached was the only way to possibly communicate with anyone and as you can see…. No reply ever!!!!

Vacating it

Charged for extras inc petit hot tub which I never got ,inside the pod was filthy and the smell was disgusting,was charged for WiFi which didn’t work,paid an extra £10 for “luxury towels @which were 2 dirty discoloured old things The owner eventually answered my call after 2 hours of trying and was useless

The glamping pod was exceptionally clean, we was welcomed by Emma, who ensured we were happy at all times. Couldn't have asked for a better hostess. She was quick at responding to our enquiries. We had stunning views, and we were able to relax all the way through our stay stress free. We went out for food to the oyster catcher, and when returning, our hot tub was ready for us.

Please take note of the negative reviews as they are not exaggerated. Having stayed several times at a fantastic pod at South Stack which unfortunately was fully booked on this occasion, we fell for the amazing photographs of this site and failed to read the reviews beforehand. It was a nightmare soon after booking. I was bombarded with emails and messages about booking 'extras' which I purchased for our stay, wood for the hot tub, wifi and for our dog. Despite paying for this the messages continued with no confirmation that any extras had been paid for. The property entrance had large bins overflowing with rubbish and there was no signage for where to park so parked where we could. We walked over to the pod that we were told on the email would be ours for the stay. First impressions were not good and I honestly thought we had gone to a pod already occupied. The fire Pit had not been cleaned out and was full of charred wood, the bbq utensils were strewn about the place. The canopy for the hot tub had collapsed and the cinema screen was hanging down and unusable. My partner lifted the lid to the hot tub, the water was murky and smelt bad. We hoped that things would get better inside but we were very wrong. Having found the key as directed we went inside. The place was filthy with dust and cobwebs everywhere. There was a grubby looking tea towel rolled up next to the sink and 2 odd towels on the bed. The small bathroom/wetroom had a hole in the ceiling and there was mould over the shower screen. The crockery and utensils were all mismatched and odd and frankly looked like they had all come from a charity shop. There was no information pack or instructions and the place felt cold and bare. The tv didn't work properly so I contacted the owner whom I found very abrupt and basically told me how to use the remote control. The wifi stopped working after 10 min.

Our hot tub’s shelter was broken so we couldn’t watch the tv or really stay in it for as long as wr wanted as it was raining and had no roof to cover us. I did message the owner but got go reply

Leaving to go home

On arrival, the site is poorly sign posted. The pod was filthy, with a build up of grime on the floor. The window had cobwebs and mould spores above the sleeping area. There was no cover above the hot tub. No TV or place for towels/shoes to keep them out of the rain. We contacted the owners with no response. I have asked for a refund as the cleanliness was so poor, we didn't stay. We have not received a reply. I have never booked anywhere so expensive with such poor standards.

The pod didn’t seem to be properly cleaned. Rubbish under the bed, stains on the sofa etc. Our pod didn’t have the canopy with tv screen for hot tub which we only found out when arriving, no one made us aware beforehand until I then contacted them to find out why we don’t have it. No toaster in the kitchenette.

Mostly as described, however there is a 10pm quiet time policy which the gang of lads staying in the ‘garden view’ pods did not adhere to and were noisy, chanting and singing into the early hours, no one came to ask them to quiet down, which was a pity as we went to relax and chill for the night. Also the ‘kitchen’ area outside needed a really good scrub it was pretty grubby.
