Excellent place to stay,great staff, extremely clean well decorated rooms, would definitely stay there again

Beautifully refurbished with quality fittings and soft furnishings. Jamie, the owner, was friendly and very helpful. Although there is a very relaxed feel, the staff were very attentive and polite. Food was also very good. Will definitely return.

I feel breakfast should have been included in the room rate. This is just my opinion and did not detract from a very enjoyable stay.

We had stayed here before the new owners,they have done a sterling job on the revamp,food excellent,we had an evening meal and also breakfast,first class👌cleanliness very good,comfortable room and very friendly helpful staff

This is a lovely old pub hotel right in the heart of a small Borders village. It has been beautifully renovated recently. The Manager is very friendly and helpful and the food is excellent.

Such a warm and friendly welcome, very nice room and well equipped, had a very good meal in the evening.

The Black Bull Hotel located in Duns, was a great place to stay and explore the Borders region. Jamie, the owner will do everything to make you feel at home. The food is fantastic. Duns has a lot of history and the Jim Clark museum is right down the street.

Having to leave too soon. I wish I stayed longer in the Borders.

Perfect location, beautiful room,and great dining! We loved Dunns and can’t wait to return.
