Cosy Barn A rural location near Tintagel

Washing machine provided. Jigsaw puzzle and other games available which were ideal for a rainy day. Peaceful, rural location.

The sofa wasn’t very comfortable and there was no TV.

De accommodatie was van alle comfort voorzien. Fijne luxe badkamer. Prachtige locatie, lekker rustig en voorzien van een tuin met uitzicht op de oceaan. De host was zeer behulpzaam en vriendelijk en alle vragen werden snel beantwoord.

A really lovely place to stay, bathroom was the best, outside seating was excellent too, we even saw a hummingbird hawk moth whilst eating our breakfast!

Quiet location and close to all the places we wanted to visit.

Superb accommodation for us. Wanted a little get away in the West Country to cram in as much as we could now the kids have grown up. Well equipped and clean. Hidden away and quiet location. Only a short drive into Tintagel and a perfect base for our days out. Will definitely book again!

Periwinkle is secluded but easy to access, making it private but very practical. The garden was blooming and great for mid afternoon sunbathing. The whole accommodation is light and airy with a Mediterranean vibe. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. Bathroom is great, could spend ages in the shower. The lounge area is perfect for cuddling up and watching a movie. Loved the loft bed, very cosy and also airy due to the skylights. Five minute drive to Tintagel, St Necten’s Glen and another five to Boscastle. Home away from home!

Clean and tidy cottage, friendly handwritten notes with most of the information, owner replied promptly to questions via Whatsapp and some suggestions in sideboard. Beautiful view over the valley and down to the coast.

The barn is absolutely lovely and just like the name, definitely cosy. It's small but it has everything you would need for a stay. I especially liked the mezzanine, the bed was really comfy and the skylights provide a great view of the sunrise, and a lovely breeze while you sleep. The barn is in a great location only a short drive into Tintagel. It's also surrounded by lots of wildlife, cows, sheep, birds and I had a friendly cat visit me too!

Only thing I would say is the driveway down to the barn is quite steep, gravelly and there are some old speed bumps which aren't brilliant for low cars like mine! Just take your time!
