Hotel Sun Ha Bacalar

Al lot of complains. In the end she called the police to scare us away. They advertise with daily roomcleaning but our room is not cleaned for 3 days. Ripped bedsheeds en nailpolish stains when we arrived. We were schocked because there are big signs saying you have to pay 500 pesos for dirty or broken sheeds/ towels. We did nog get de lakeview we payed for, there is smoking all around the property, the fontain is broken and the douche is al covered in chalk. They speak perfectly english when you are positive but forget that when you have a quistion or need help. When we were leaving they only speaked Spanish because i had complains the day before. When i hand in my roomkey i think she was saying everything was alright, i did not know for sure so i asked her to translate on the phone. That was the moment she began to scream at me: Calma calma i call police to you. We only have red the good reviews. Please do not believe them. Afterwards we saw a pattern in the bad reviews. Please take this seriously!

-Die Lage direkt am Steg und am Wasser - 10min fußläufig ins Zentrum - kleine Shops und Restaurants direkt um die Ecke

Das Hotel hat so viel Potential, es wird aber leider nicht genug gepflegt. Die älteren Zimmer sind relativ eng und ungemütlich und die Luft ist leicht muffig, es reicht aber am Ende auch völlig aus. Man könnte die gesamte Anlage etwas auf Vordermann bringen und vielleicht zumindest Kaffee und Kaltgetränke anbieten.
