Wat een prachtige locatie! Het huisje ligt heerlijk in een natuurgebied, waardoor je echt kunt genieten van de rust en de natuur. 's Nachts is het er zeer stil, ideaal om met de ramen open te slapen en helemaal tot rust te komen. De wasmachine en droogkast zijn zeker een pluspunt, net als de ruime badkamer. Ik zou deze woning zeker aan iedereen aanraden die op zoek is naar een rustige en mooie plek in de natuur!

Als suggestie zou ik willen meegeven dat het handig zou zijn om wat extra pannen en potten toe te voegen, zodat het koken nog makkelijker wordt. Daarnaast zou het fijn zijn om meer servies en gepaste glazen te hebben, zodat alles goed verzorgd is voor de gasten

Remote isolated area!

The area was peaceful and beautiful!

Amazing location in the Gap of Dunloe, sheep roaming right outside. Great location for hiking. We enjoyed our stay, and appreciated the apple pie and fresh milk that was provided. Dorothy was very responsive and was easy to reach if we needed anything. Looking forward to returning! Thanks Dorothy!

No hair dryer

The apple pie. Location. Facilities. Spacious This is the place to stay. Only 16km from Killarney. The views from our little cottage are to die for. Very cosy. Close to everything we wanted to see and do in the area.

Absolutely nothing

Well-equipped three-bedroom house in the middle of the stunningly beautiful Gap of Dunloe. Very cosy and quiet for a get-away-from-it-all feeling (although you are on the road where hikers and horses and carts will pass so you're not really isolated either).

There's no mobile phone reception and the internet is weak - but this was really a plus for us and we hadn't expected to be fully connected for a restful few days away from it all.

This location is absolutely stunning, we went all over Ireland and I’m not sure anywhere could beat this. It was a perfect relaxing place for our family of 5, our kids loved seeing all the animals right outside every morning and night.

The cottage was amazing in a fairy tale location. The kitchen had everything we needed. There was a washing machine and a dryer, which was excellent. Everything was in top condition. We loved being able to walk the Gap at any time. Dorothy, the host, was extremely responsive. We would definitely come back.

The only minor thing is that the mattress was a little uncomfortable. Also, for driving in, it should be noted that before 8 am and after 5pm is best as this is when there are no jaunty carts driving by and a lot less people.
