The Stables, converted barn outside York

This is a very nice tidy, comfortable, light and airy stable conversion. Everything you could need for a short stay is provided; a nice big fridge/freezer, comfortable bed, pretty village in convenient location, very fast responsive hosts and plenty of space. Can't think of anything negative. I'd happily stay again and recommend it.

Beautifully presented, kitchen stocked with everything you could think of. Lovely and bright

If I was nitpicking, at 1st I was worried about privacy as double doors looked onto the families garden. But they did not use whilst we were there.

The property was absolutely stunning, first class design and furnishings, loved the outdoor space too ( although the weather was too wet to enjoy it. Owners on hand to help with bus, train and Uber information. Sparkling clean, warm building, kitchen had everything we needed, great TV. Washing machine and dishwasher too. Made our weekend in York just fabulous. Would definitely recommend this property.

Nice fresh open space

Lovely house and garden with everything we needed for a short stay. In a very quiet, nice village. Entry to the house was easy and good information from the hosts, would stay again.

It had everything you could possibly want in a self catering property;clean,bright and welcoming. Lovely village setting,with walks to the river and close to interesting small towns and villages. Also many green,ethical features in the accomodation.

Everything was great!

It was stated on Booking.com that there would be an iron available at the property but there was not one available.
