The room felt so homely and welcoming. The owners went a long way to make the space feel very personal and were very accommodating. There were lots of options to add little extras to the stay including luxury gifts, toilet trees and drinks. We really appreciated the effort that was put into this place.

There wasn't anything negative to say about the stay. It was lovely and ideal for what we needed, we just wish we could've spent more time at the property as we had to leave for the majority of the day and it would've been nice to hang out in the living area and make the most of this lovely property.

The place exceeded expectations in many ways. I loved the fact that I had what amounted to a small suite of rooms - bedroom, sitting room, bathroom, loo - all to myself. The bed was comfy, as was the sofa in the sitting room with satellite TV to watch; the whole place was warm, cosy, quiet, beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean; there was proper coffee rather than instant; fresh fruit to eat; and lots of lovely toiletries for an indulgent bath.

There was no on-site parking (a pain if you realise you've left something in the car when you're settled in for the night); and no desk/ dressing table that could be used for working on a laptop.

It was perfect. Warm but not stuffy rooms. Loved the sole use of the separate sitting room. So many snacks to eat and enjoy. Alcohol too if you wanted it.. with honesty box method as payment or through an online payment method. Plenty of continental breakfast options. I ate loads! Every quality bath product you could wish for. Great bath and plenty of hot water. Parking was easy. Early check in was appreciated as the weather was not good. Loved the opportunity to buy some small Christmas gifts with an easy payment method. Could have stayed longer.
