We could not manage to get the stove going. Door handle of one bedroom was broken. The photos does not do this place justice. New website photos could help with marketing.

Amazing location! It's those places where time stands still and you get lost in the beauty of nature! If quiet without frills is what you are after, then this is definitely a place for you.

We had a lovely 2 nights at Ou Werf with our dog. It’s very peaceful and quiet and lots of space around and no other house close by. Exactly what we were looking for to just relax. Beautiful views out of every window over the fields. Big windows throughout the whole cottage. Very nice stoep to watch the sunset. There is a small pool/hot tub on the side of the cottage and open fireplace. We initially wanted to try out but the wind was blowing like crazy (typical South Easter!) so we didn’t feel like it. But must be great for cooler weather. There is an inside braai we used for dinner. Bredasdorp is very close and has very good supermarkets now.

The owners waited for us to arrive and personally gave us the keys to the property inspite of it being past 22hrs. Loved the space upstairs converted into a room with a balcony from where we could visualize a starry sky. Also the lady host was kind enough to drive us to her farm; felt, where the sheep were grazing. The kitchen was well equipped, the property has a fire place. Since its a farm we could walk around.
