AUFriendly and helpful staff, size of the room and bathroom, colonial style architecture, great breakfast, small size of the property without crowds, quietness, French feel of the "Maison". A little away from the center of Colombo but it did not bother us.

GBLovely boutique hotel with fabulous staff & good facilities. We weren't leaving for the airport until 9pm but they let us stay on in our room until then FOC. We were the only people there so they could have closed and gone home, which shows an unbelievable commitment to customer service.

Mūsų kambarys ir vonios kambarys buvo tiesiog beprotiškai dideli, nepriekaištingai švarūs ir puikiai įrengti – jautėmės tarsi apsistoję prancūziškuose rūmuose. Pusryčiai buvo labai skanūs, sotūs ir visada švieži. Baseino zona – itin rami, su patogiais gultais, ideali vieta atsipalaiduoti ir pabėgti nuo miesto šurmulio. Atvykimo dieną mus šiltai pasitiko pats viešbučio šeimininkas, o pasveikinimo gėrimas buvo ne tik maloni, bet ir labai skani staigmena. Tai vieta, kuri palieka ypatingą įspūdį ir ilgai išlieka atmintyje.

GBThe rooms were super comfortable and the whole property is absolutely characterful. The pool area is lovely. Breakfast is excellent. And the staff were delightful. We needed to stay an extra night due to one of us being ill, and they did everything they could to make it easy and comfortable. Can’t thank them enough.
The location of La Maison is a little bit far out of the middle of town than you might realise. It’s a 25 min tuk tuk ride up to Fort Colombo (very cheap though) and restaurants are all a tuk tuk ride away if you don’t eat in.
