NLThe main area looks nice and staff is friendly.
I had a room outdid the main area so my experience was different than expected. I could have hooked any other room in any other hotel, you wouldn’t know the difference. This was disappointing. And in my room the electricity box was making a lot of noise. And the bed lights were as bright as you find in a hospital. I had an early checkout so they offered breakfast to go. This was a package of juice and some cake. The worst breakfast I had. Overall, you would expect much more for this money.
GBA tranquil and peaceful escape from crazy Colombo. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The owner Christophe was genuinely attentive and made us feel at home. The rooms and incredible, very spacious, beautiful furniture and the beds were super comfy.

GBRooms were really spacious and beautifully decorated to maintain a period charm with all mod cons. Breakfast was amazing, and staff so friendly. It was bonus having a chance to meet with Christophe the owner, there is no doubt this is a passion, thats why everything is so perfect. Ohh and the pool was a delight and the sun beds probably the most comfortable sun beds ever.
1/2 hour from Fort Colombo, but Uber's are so cheap!
BEPrachtige accomodatie, mooie villa met 7 kamers/suites, rustige ligging in de drukke stad, mooi zwembad met comfortabele ligzetels, zitzakken en luxe handdoeken, heel ruime kamer met salon, veel bergruimte, koffie, thee en water, minibar, erg ruime en comfortabele badkamer, vriendelijke en behulpzame Franse eigenaars die zeer flexibel waren voor erg late checkout! Accomodatie al helemaal gezellig en stijlvol versierd voor Kerst. Goed ontbijt.

CAGorgeous & tranquil property with warm & welcoming hosts and staff. A reprieve in the hustle of Colombo. Breakfast was delightful. It was lovely to have a nice glass of French wine after months in Sri Lanka without that option - and by the pool no less. Would visit again in a heartbeat!
I was there on a Friday night & there was loud music coming from next door (a club I imagine), it was loud in the room until 12AM or so - but the bed was so comfortable I fell asleep easily anyways. Also had some trouble with PickMe & Uber getting to the entrance for some reason, the geo location was by the street so had to keep walking down the alley for pickup (minor inconvenience).
