Relax with spectacular views and Hot Tub

Location and views were spectacular.

When first opening the front door we were greeted with an awful smell similar to wet dog. When we went into the bathroom the smell got worse and seemed to be more of a sewage type smell. As we went upstairs to the kitchen it was filthy with cobwebs over the windows and even the extraction fan. The rubbish also had not been emptied from prior guests as one cupboard was just filled with empty bottles. We did not plan on cooking in the kitchen so we initially overlooked this. If this had been all I most likely would not have left any review but unfortunately the worst was still yet to be discovered. As we went to bed at 1am as soon we pulled back the duvet we realised the bedding had not been cleaned/changed from the previous guests as there were long black hairs all over the sheets. There was also some type of dried in bodily fluids on the back of the duvet cover (don't think I need to say any more than that). It was too late to contact someone so we just did not sleep in the bed. It completely ruined our weekend away and we could not wait to leave the next morning. Definitely would not go back or recommend as the cleanliness standards just are not there at all. Photos are all of bed, we did take photos of everything else but for me this was the worst bit. Unfortunately it only let's me upload 4 photos.

Stunning property, beautiful interior, super cozy and beautiful views. We really enjoyed how peaceful it was and the hot tub was very relaxing in the evenings.

A couple of issues Netflix wasn't paid for so we couldn't use it, had to log into our own. Tv remote barely working- had to press buttons several times to access anything. Internet kept dropping. Very excessive pet fee 40 pounds cash, we brought a very clean dog with us, used our own blankets and used lint rollers and kept the place extremely clean so it was a shame to pay such a high fee, I would suggest to include it in the overall booking or disclose prior to booking.

A quiet comfortable cottage with a Fabulous view opposite the Lough and down the road from a great national trust and local amenities.

Lovely views in a quiet area, perfect for a relaxing, chilled getaway.

The views were amazing, the weather obviously was wonderful and we were there to relax which we did! It is a beautiful spot, quiet and very private! The layout of the home is perfect! Well looked after with treats on arrival and nice products in the bathroom.

There is very little we would fault, everything was good for us but some might notice a little dust on top shelves and back windows. All in all we loved our stay and would definitely think about staying again. Thank you so much for a great weekend!
