Was confused on arrival for a while as didn’t see anybody to give us keys, rang the number on the sign but went to voicemail, but then I eventually figured it out and the property was open. But it wasn’t a problem. It was clean and tidy very nice.

We had to leave would have loved to stay longer but it was quite expensive for me that is.

Full place was left dirty, cob webs, dirty socks left, lard left in a frying pan In the cupboard, crisps left inside sheets at bottom of bed. Cob webs inside property place wasn’t looked after at all.

Nice location and nice vibe about the place

Hot tub on the first night didn’t heat up till at least the second day of the afternoon, and very poor communication from the owner when asked questions and didn’t get a response

The location was gorgeous, quiet, and cute, hot tub was amazing

We stayed 2 nights got 1 cloth for cleaning and 1 dishwasher tablet. We had to wash all the plates before we ate as some were not clean, there was several spider webs and inbetween the sofa leather cushions was a serious amount of dog hair and on the bed cushions. My son was staying in another lodge with his gf and they had no cloth and didn’t even bother to restock the teabags biscuits etc for them arriving their floor was laminate and it was sticky and they need to give more than 1 bath towel per guest especially with a hot tub. We did ask for more and normally they charge for this service but a lady gave them to my friend. Can’t rate the staff as I never spoke to any and other than people repairing the lodges or checking the hot tubs I personally never saw any.

Was nice and quite place and dog friendly was good stay

The Lodge and surrounding area was beautiful.

The only thing I would say is that there was no dish towel in kitchen so had to use a hand towel and a couple of kitchen items needed washed before we used them, frying pan and one of the bowls.

Loved that i had the option to have some decorations put up for a special birthday, banners, balloons etc and also posecco and chocolates on arrival. Little things like this make me appreciate that some people do go that little extra mile. Late check out was good although would have definetly liked it to be more of a check out at 12/12.30. Place was clean but had few areas that were missed. Loved our stay would have liked to have a towel per person as there was only 2 towels for 4 of us. Quiet place no problems. Teabags, coffee, sugar amd milk sachets on arrival which was great. Maybe few tubs etc that are able to go into the microwave would be great as we had to do most of the cooking in pots. Would ideally love to come back and stay but only sleeps 4 people which im gutted as we had such a lovely time. The hot tub was lovely and warm and clean.

We didnt have any room in recycling to put our glass bottles but just took them with us. Nothing we didnt like we had a great time just the odd here and there comment as i put above
