Fraoch, Pets welcome

The bungalow is in an excellent location for exploring Bute. Port Bannatyne is quieter, more serene than Rothesay but within easy reach of there. Ettrick Bay is only two miles away, via a lovely footpath walk. The bungalow was very comfortable and clean, and the host was very helpful and friendly.

When they advertise "Pets Welcome' they absolutely mean it! Walking in to doggy bowls and a paw towel (as well as a special fleece blanket just for pupper) showed that extra level of care. Facilities were superb, washer and dryer very much appreciated, and the first place we've been that provided an air fryer which was fab. The little extra touches like salt and pepper, cooking oil, tea bags, even dish soap, meant we didn't have to haul out for a big shop on day 1, which all supported the care that's obvious from this host (thank you!) And your welcome book really is that - full of useful information on where to go with 4-paws. Very much appreciated. We could literally throw a tennis ball to the sea from the front door (if I was a better aim) so the views were amazing and morning walks stunning. We had a lovely stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Nothing negative to say at all; the plumbing has character but nothing that was a problem!

Lovely house with great amenities

Nothing really but if pushed to answer then shower head was a bit temperamental and kitchen sink tap was very stiff.

Shower a bit difficult to control

Excellent location, very quiet and peaceful, but only a few minutes away from shops and amenities. The accommodation was very spacious, clean and well equipped with good quality furnishings and utensils, including a generous supply of tea, coffee, etc Stunning outlook right next to a beautiful marina and yards from promenade. There is a really good, frequent bus service right outside our front door which can take you into Rothesay, as well as an open top your bus service which covers the whole island. Pet friendly too! We brought our small dog and there was a dog feeding station, towel and playthings provided!

Sheena is so exceptionally helpful! The bungalow is beautiful and has everything you could possibly need. We were gutted to leave today

Going home!

Everything was amazing in this wee cottage. Sheena kept fresh flowers for welcome which the best part. The facilities are 10 min drive away, and you can drive around the island in just an hour. So many beaches to see. Best trip.

Nothing to dislike in the cottage, everything was top notch 👌

The location was perfect. Private car parking. Short distance to get into the town.
