The staff is lovely, very helpful and the room is confortable but the wifi doesn't work well away from the reception. The food was good and abundant but it would be nice to offer a wider range of local food on the menu other than fried rice, pho and noodles (they seem to have goat blood soup, duck and other food for locals coming here).

Cat ba park homestay is great if you have kids that want to run around and splash in the pool. We were looking for a quiet place away from the city but it was not as peaceful as we were expecting. Local families come over to use the pool, at least during our 2 nights stay. FYI, if you come from Hanoi, the bus does not take you to the homestay directly and instead they drop you off somewhere in Cat Ba and you have to pay extra for a taxi.

Wow! What a great homestay. Away from the Cat Ba town, surrounded by gardens, amazing staff. It's on the road to the national park and northern ferry terminal, scooters available, good food, swimming pool. Gecko the manager is a legend and will tend to your every need. Hard to fault this place, you won't regret it!

Gecko and the rest of the staff were ever so friendly and supported and assisted all of our needs. The pool is lovely and can be used whenever. The garden was also lovely. Motorbikes for 120 VND per day Boat Trips available Close to the hospital cave

Staff is lovely and really helpful. Place is clean and in a good condition. The place is very quite and peaceful. It was nice to enjoy the nature all around for a few days.

Wifi is not very good inside the bungalows (at least ours). It does work well in the common area. I'd say the place could improve cooking - the breakfast was great but the we didn't enjoy the rest much. The rooms could use a bit of upgrade - small details to be fair.
