Hotel Odo-Adult Only

Check in was quick and the hotel is located not too far from a train station.

Unfortunately, the room did not match the description on Booking.com. The listing stated 83 m², non-smoking, and soundproofed, but the room provided was approximately 40 m², smelled heavily of cigarettes, and was not soundproof at all. We were woken up multiple times by traffic noise and sounds from neighboring rooms. There were also concerning safety issues: no ID was requested at check-in, the room was not cleaned, and staff were able to open our door through an internal window, which does not feel secure for guests. The property acknowledged that the room size on Booking.com was a “typing error,” but could not provide written confirmation of the refund they verbally offered nor a clear timeline. This left me with very little confidence in their handling of the situation. I have been a loyal Booking.com user for years, and this is the first time I’ve had to raise a complaint. I hope Booking.com reviews this property to ensure it meets the standards expected on the platform.

マイカーでナビの検索で、TEL検索する別の場所に行く。2025年度版のソフトを替えて、使い慣れしてないのが有って迷った。 「場所の検索は住所で、TELでは行けません！。」とか‼️

We loved the size of our room— definitely worth the cost and one of our top accommodations on our 2 week trip to Japan. The amenities like soda fountain, walk-in shower & tub with jets / lights were our favorites. The tub was perfect for nightly soaks to recover from dull days of walking and exploring the nearby Fukuoka city centers. The staff was helpful when we could find them and we loved the recommendation cards for local spots at both entrances of the hotel.

We noticed that not everything was completely dusted like under the bedside tables, though that didn’t really bother us too much. The staff don’t seem to hang out at the reception desk so you’ll need to pick up the phone on the desk to ask for assistance if checking in as a long term guest. Some signage would be helpful!
