Deakins Place in Nottingham

The location of the apartment was good, and the place was clean and secure.

However, I was disappointed because it did not meet my expectations. This was my first time in Nottingham, and since I paid a high amount, I expected the apartment to be fully equipped. I booked the apartment for two adults, but there was only one cup, one glass, and one person’s crockery, which was not fair. Basic items like toilet paper, kitchen utensils, and other essentials were missing, and I had to keep asking for things, which was very difficult with my busy schedule. There were also no cleaning supplies, such as dishwasher liquid or a bathroom cleaning brush. I had to arrange everything from scratch, which was quite tough during my research visit.

All the necessary facilities were available, and it was peaceful too. I was there just for my research work, and everything went really smoothly. The location was perfect.

I did not like that they could not find my friend (other guest) in their system, and that the checking-in form was very confusing as I never made the booking as a student.

There was almost everything you would need in the studio including towels, pots and pans, cutlery, vacuum cleaner, soap. There is big desk if you need that for your stay.

There was no oven gloves or washing up,liquid which both would be nice additions. The bathroom being motion detected and the fan being extremely loud was annoying but they can't really change that.
