Sky High Ensuite Bedroom in Shared Apartment in Belfast City Centre

1/ Entry system failed we phoned the contact number as advised but it was disabled.it was only because of the building manager let us access the building and the lift . He also said that this type of let was probhited by the management and only after our coaxing him did he allow us to access the lift to the apartment. 2/ we where extremely disappointed when we entered the hallway of the apartment. There were shoes littered in the hallway. This was obviously someone’s home and they were obviously renting out a en-suite room in it .. 3/ we where extremely disappointed in the cleanliness of the Room .. The bed linen was creased and un iron. The valance sheet had stains on it .. carpet had a burnt mark on it. The bed side lamps were thick with dust . Walls where covered in led strip lightning much of which where hanging off. The wardrobe was stuffed with bedding crumbled into a storage box and drawer. The bed and mattress was extremely uncomfortable and definitely not adequate for paying guests .. On the bathroom there were only 2 thread bare and worn towels . One was a bath towel and the other a flimsy hand towel.. There was a crack in the sink and the glass shower door was broken and hanging precariously.. To be honest I tried to book somewhere else but there wasn’t anything near that location That was affordable.. I have only given a score of 1 because there wasn’t an option to give a zero.. the room door could not be locked and secured when we left. So we had to carry all our valuables are the city of Belfast that evening. The only way the door could be secured was from inside the room by way of a child safety lock .. All in all I honestly believe that this property should not be listed on booking.com . Absolutely biggest waste of £90 .. for the nights stay ..

Access arrangements were complicated and poor, i was worried that if i left the building i would not be able to return, the impression given was that this renting of rooms shouldn't be happening in this building as it was made very clear no to talk to the receptionist and as the receptionist told me this as they reluctantly let me into the building. The booking was misleading there was no lock to lock the door from outside, i had an evening meeting to attend and could not leave my passport and laptop in a room with no lock. No wifi either, i ended up not staying and checking into the Leonardo Hotel.

Great location. Helpful prompts for a smooth experience. Comfortable and clean.

Although we got parked on arrival. If we needed to be there any earlier for parking it would not have been suitable.
