Joyful Hut with Netflix and Perfect Sunrise View Maya, Daanbantayan

The hut has a beautiful garden, a terrace on the first floor, and it's a beautiful little place. The shower was great, the living room too, and I didn't even realise there was a second floor with the room and terrace! The bedroom had a mosquito net and a fan, it was ideal for a night before taking the ferry to Malapascua. I could have stayed longer to truly enjoy the place!

It was a bit tricky to find at night from google maps: just ask the hosts for directions, they actually got someone to wait for me so they could guide me in!

Assisted timely for a late night checkin. Prompt communication, very polite owner. 1 bhk hut with seaview. Provided all toiletries, towels and even mosquito repellents. The property also has a gas stove, kettle and a complete kitchen. Fast wifi, a big screen TV with a good quality sound bar.

There is a rooster that runs around the neighborhood and he is insomniac. He will wake you up early🥲

Our overall stay was alright, but unfortunately, we had a disappointing interaction with the owner. Initially considering extending our stay, we opted against it due to feeling judged for not maintaining pristine cleanliness with kids around. Balancing family fun and tidiness can be challenging. We had intended to tidy up after a quick trip to Malapascua Island but were met with a complaint upon our return before we had even checked out. While the place was indeed messy, we had not yet completed our stay or the necessary cleanup. It was a frustrating experience that overshadowed an otherwise decent stay.

The most magical and special place. We just hand a night here before our ferrry but wish we had longer. A front and back garden going back out to the sea and just fabulous. Super Wi-Fi and a treat to be able to cook for yourself and chill on a sofa. Really cute local surroundings too and everyone was so so helpful.

Nothing it was amazing

It's a convenient place for a night's stay if you've missed the boat to malapascua. Het host is very friendly. It's cheap.

On Booking it says the hit can accommodate 4 people. We'll, that's not true. There is one small bed upstairs with no walls, so kind of outside. On the ground floor is a small bedsofa, but the springs are terrible and hard and it only fits one. So I ended up sleeping on the floor on a thin matras. We saw a lot of rats right at the next door neighbour's dock and the roosters start at 2AM...

It’s just a small bungalow next to the old port - if you didn’t catch your ferry it’s great to stay here overnight. Dont worry about the neighbors- they are all super nice and helpful!
