Fabulous host and beautiful place to stay, plenty of space, clean and tidy, couldn't have asked for anything better. Plenty for the kids to do on site. I highly recommend and would definitely book again.

Nice caravan, sunny weather

Have had a bad experience with the host. Did not realise I had to pay an additional £30 for bringing a pet and another £100 by private bank transfer as a damage deposit after booking and paying. Didn't get the damage deposit back (£100) because of some dog hairs (I assumed that was what the additional £30 was for though). Bedding covers were not supplied, this would be an additional cost. So I took my own duvet and cover as I didn't fancy trying to put a duvet cover on in a small bedroom. Took my own pillow cases and put over the available pillows (which I found to be too hard personally). On packing up, I genuinely forgot they weren't my pillows and took home. Told the host I was happy for this to come out of the deposit or I would post back. An honest mistake and I felt very bad. Host didn't respond about the remaining deposit being returned until I asked again over a week later. Then she said she was "peed off" about dog hair and would not be returning the damage deposit. There was no hot water for washing up or showers, which she came and fixed personally. Have been threatened with legal action over my first review but I believe it's important to show bad experiences as well as the good. The damage deposit being kept for cleaning dog hair may not bother some people, but it did me! Please note that the dog hair was not "everywhere" as I've seen the photos and had to do a considerable amount of squinting to see. We took time to clean as instructed and put everything away. Sorry about the dog hair not being picked up by the hoover.

This lodge is amazing as soon as we opened the door it smelt so fresh and so clean . The lady that owns the lodge is really down to earth. My wife and me class her as a friend now she made us so welcome that we have book to stay there again

Amazing, the pictures undersold how good this lodge is. Maria is a lovely lady and cooks were brill. We will defo be staying again

Clean ,spacious and modern very comfortable beds

Maria was absolutely amazing, she went above and beyond to help us out and to make sure we had a comfortable stay. The place its self is beautiful! Very nicely furnished, got everything you need. Very Clean and tidy. It's located in the perfect spot- in the middle of everything!! We had a great stay and I definitely reccomed!!! Thank you for being so kind 😇 Demi

The woman was so rude

Accommodation was very good, clean,tidy everything you needed. It was situated in a great spot, in one direction you were at the site shop , swimming pool and restaurant in the opposite direction the takeaway food outlets and clubhouse. Both within a 10 minute walk.

The caravan is lovely and clean, full size single beds and king size with toilet en suite. Owner lovely and friendly. Site is amazing, so much for all ages to do. And its in a perfect location. Inbetween the shop/pub and the arcades and clubhouse. Thank you so much, we will 100% be back again!!

Luxury caravan, everything you need and more even had electric blankets on the beds. Very warm and cosy, very clean, very spacious. The beds are unbelievably comfy. Lots to do on site and loads afew minutes drive out. Nice warm welcome lovely lady very helpful. Would definitely stay again. Thankyou.
