Very unique and beautiful

A charming property with an excellent location

There were three bedrooms on the higher floor with the bathroom and the toilet on a lower floor accessed via steep stairs. We were not spring chickens but managed but had we known this in advance we may not have chosen to stay there. Also we were unable to get live TV - perhaps it’s our age but we all have digital TVs at home so we are not that useless. Perhaps more explicit instructions would help.

The location was perfect and the host gracious. We got a stunning welcome basket too. It felt like an immersive Cotswolds experience. The beds were comfy and the rest of the house was well furnished. We had great fun exploring all the "secret" passages around the house. I think this was well priced for the experience provided.

Wished we could have stayed longer!

We were hugely impressed with our stay here. We were a large group of 4 adults and 5 children and the flat was very spacious and never felt cramped. There were plenty of rooms and beds. The bedrooms and beds were very comfortable and warm. The rooms were super clean and well-equipped. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment and there was a large dining room and comfy lounge. The location, in an old building in the centre of the town, was perfect. Our hosts were very helpful and communicative. This place was perfect for our needs and I would strongly recommend.

Narrow staircase to apartment. Problem if you have big luggages. No refill of shampoo and toilet rolls. Deposit of GBP200 not spelled out at time of booking.
