This is a beautiful little hideaway spot. South Wootton is a great location in terms of being a base to explore Norfolk generally. I personally was seeking a space to read, relax, slow down and cook. It was absolutely wonderful!!! The woods at the back are small but mighty in terms of its wildlife. Squirrels, birds and It's the very first time I have seen muntjac deer so close up - it was a very magical experience! Highly recommend if you're looking for a space to chill or a well located property for exploring the countryside of Norfolk.

Mmmm... In hindsight I could have booked some more nights - 😂

Very clean, nice amenities, quiet location. Liked being able to go for a walk in the woods out the back

We stayed 5 nights it would have been nice to put stuff in drawers or cupboards, but there wasn't much empty we could use. A very minor detail and it 0wouldn't be an issue for most people, we just had a lot of gear with us!

"Wonderful allround experience."

The first thing that caught our eyes was the amazing fish pond and garden before entering to a beautiful sunny, modern, well equipped open plan room, with a washing machine and dishwasher. We also were always visited by the owners 2 beautiful dogs, named, Simba and Scooter. They were friendly and also very placid. Also, outside we enjoyed a perfect garden setting to enjoy a coffee or wine. There is a 10 min walk to a Tesco supermarket and also a few pubs. Our host was very friendly and accommodating. Nearby Castle Rising, Castle Acre, and especially Castle Acre Priory are a must visit. Returning from Castle Acre Priory we lunched at the wonderful old "George and Dragan Pub". Also a must visit. (Sundays they have roast) perfect!
