Enjoy City Skyline Views from private RoofDeck!

Easy location, great place, comfortable and enough space for a group of 6. There was a great Ethiopian restaurant right around the corner that was SO good, what a hidden gem.

Overall really enjoyed the property. The rooftop was cool to sit on and take in the city. As it is “city living” there we a lot of big city sounds late at night. This was to be expected but a little loud at times.

Location: Bus and Tram nearby. Liquor store and ALDI in walking distance. Apartment: Good kitchen with many utensils. Beds were comfortable and spacious. We really liked that there were two bathrooms in the apartment.

The check in experience was horrible. While being pestered by people that were later seen to be dealing drugs, our door code didn’t work. When I called to seek help the woman on the phone treated me like I was stupid. In the end it turned out they gave us the wrong code and the fault was definitely not on our end. Location: the apartment is located in Carver/Langston, a high crime area in DC. Directly in front of the entrance people were dealing drugs. While highly entertaining and unique, we had to witness 3 DEA raids, with people being arrested. Although the drug dealers and users didn’t bother us directly, we wouldn’t recommend booking this apartment if you are travelling as a smaller group or only females. Apartment: The apartment was a bit dirty and there weren’t enough large towels for all of us. There weren’t any dressers or drawers so we all lived out of our suitcases.

Property itself spacious.

We left the property in NE Washington after one sleepless night fearing for our family's personal safety as this was compromised in the location- there was drug dealing, prostitution and noise of motorbikes, smashing glass bottles at brick walls outside through the night. It was really unsafe and we could not sleep. We contacted the owner in the morning who refused to refund the money for the other 8 nights we did not stay and offered us a less spacious, less modern property in an equally poor neighbourhood which we refused. We spoke to the owner when we left and also to booking .com 4 times but we have been given different conflicting information from different agents so are now taking further advice. Two different taxi drivers: 1 on night 1 who dropped us off and 2 the second one who collected us the next morning when we departed told us this location is unsafe to go out night or day for tourists. It should not be on your site. The only skyline views we had were of drug dealing, the police arriving at 2:30am, motorbike noise up and down the road at high speed and prostitution. It was very frightening for our young family. We felt that to take photos would be unsafe and draw unnecessary attention to ourselves on a higher floor as there was already violent behaviour occuring down below. (This is the first time we have experienced this problem with booking. com. We booked an alternative property with booking.com for these 8 nights in Arlington Aug 11th- 18th which was much better but have been left out of pocket as have paid booking.com twice.)

The location is extremely bad. We didn’t serve it.

It was very roomy and it was a really nice space.

When we arrived there were people everywhere and drug deals right in front of our door. It was scary and the smell of marijuana was so strong even in our rooms and the hallway. Loud music all night and police on the corner breaking up fights from the people hanging out until well after 3am

The property was beautiful and had perfect space for the group of people I had. It felt secure and everything was relatively close to the property so not much travel was needed. Everything in the property worked.

The upstairs room didn’t get much ac so the downstairs would be very cold while the upstairs stayed hot. The morning of check out I noticed that while it had rained there was a leak on the ceiling of one of the downstairs rooms, not a big leak but a leak nonetheless. Although everything was close by to the property the area that the property was in was not pleasant and it made me feel a bit uneasy especially since it felt like people were just watching us whenever we left or went back into the property.
