Absolutely pathetic experience . Its not at all up to the mark as compared to the room tarrif. 1. THERE IS NO LIFT IN THE HOTEL . 2. YOU WILL FIND BEER BOTTLES AND CIGARETTE BUDS LYING AROUNG IN THE CORRIDOOR 3. The entire hotel smells like a bar . Not at all ideal for families. Firstly, the room tariff is higher than any other hotel of this size in New Town . The average room tariff around the area is 1500 . Since this hotel charged more , so I expected the services to be a notch better . but… I had booked 2 rooms for 5 people through booking.com and upon arrival they forced me to pay extra 1000 rs for the 5th person . I was stranded in the heat of Kolkata with 2 elderly persons and had to suffice to their demands . But the night mares continued . The entire hotel has only 2 housekeeping staff who take ages even to deliver plates to the room and getting the room cleaned is a mamoth task as they keep procrastinating whenever we call them to clean that too once in day . I had to extend my stay due to unforeseen reasons . And the manager charged me 1000rd more than what was shown in booking.com . When I told them that I will book the extended stay online he threatened me that he will throw us out of our rooms and will to pay for half day room tarrif over the online fare . This is by far the worst hotel stay I have had anywhere in India.

Staff were extremely accommodating and allowed us to move rooms on request. The rooms were modern and clean.

Occasional powercuts and unreliable connectivity.

location , this property is next to my office and my official trip was comfortable because of it

no lift , no English channels on tv

What not to like....

There should have been lift for elderly people.

The rooms were great. The location was good.

Didn't have a mini refrigerator
