Monte Estoril Train Station - Seaside Apartment

Wunderschönes Appartment mit direktem Blick auf das Meer. Sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Unten im Café bekommt man direkt den ersten Galão des Tages. Mit geöffnetem Fenster kann man das Meer und ab und zu den Zug hören, der aber nicht stört. Sehr nette und zuvorkommende Gastgeberin, die sich wirklich phänomenal um uns gekümmert hat. The flat is lovely,it is extremely comfortable and has a great location. From the dining table you have the best view of monte Estoril.

Location was incredible. Yes, it overlooks the railway but train service is fairly minimal and even then the noise is low. The views are directly out to sea and was really beautiful. It took minutes to get to the closest beach. Apartment itself is really nicely done and was very comfortable. Air con in all living and bedroom spaces. The host contacted us a couple of times to check everything was ok. Everything was fine for us but nice to know they are on hand if needed. It’s nice they had cleaning supplies too. After a day on the beach it’s easy to walk sand around and there’s not daily housekeeping so this is actually useful.

The bedrooms let in quite a lot of light from the street outside. Maybe an investment in blackout blinds would help. Also, there’s an extra charge for towels which seems pretty steep, €15pp to get fresh towels. We only stayed a few nights but for longer stays this should really be included. Maybe every 3 days as people will be using the beach etc. It’s very close to a perfect 10, they’ve really done a great job making this flat and it is very comfortable.

A lovely spacious comfortable apartment looking onto the sea. Well appointed just above Monte Estoril station. Trains run every 15-20 minutes to either Lisbon or Cascais. Pleasantly relaxing, very clean and well equipped with all facilities. I look forward to coming back!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Monte Estoril Train Station and would have liked to have lingered longer; however, I had previous plans. Ines, the hostess, was very helpful in all aspects of my all-too-short visit. I shall try to return next year for a longer duration.

The apartment is tastefully decorated and the kitchen has enough equipment to cook some meals if you choose. The view is amazing and the location is unbeatable. There was also tons of hot water and the bed was very comfortable.

Absolutely beautiful apartment with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. Fabulous uninterrupted views of the sea and an easy and pleasant walk to beaches, cafes, shops and Cascais which is a lively town. Parking felt secure and easy. Very convenient being above the train station (the train noise was very faint). It is worth mentioning to plan ahead for train passes as the station office is only open on weekday mornings and the machine was broken. You can buy tickets on the train but for the more inclusive passes, we needed to walk to Cascais to get sorted (not far!). There have also been some improvement works and some later trains back were cancelled/replacement buses. We stayed over a public holiday so was harder to predict but it might be worth double checking at the station to avoid being stranded! Ines, the host is very kind and helpful.
