Modern three Bedroom House in great Durham City

Location and parking were good. Overall size of the property was good. Heating was brilliant.

The house looks like it was put together by enthusiastic DIY'ers, but without the skills required to achieve a good result. Facilities limited (we had to borrow an iron from the neighbours) and many things broken (Bath panel, fridge and kitchen cupboard doors, toilet roll holder, cups and plates chipped etc). The flooring throughout is very uneven between rooms which caused us to trip or feel off balance. Mattresses and duvets are poor quality and thin. It appears that this property is a catch-all for unwanted / tired furniture. Plug sockets are not positioned sensibly - so extension leads were required a lot

Spacious

Beddings not changed. Few dirts and hair on the bed. Not enough toilet tissue.

Location

Baseball bat in bedroom was worrying, no light switch for lounge light, no bedside lamps. Very overpowering air fresheners everywhere. Only 1 pillow each.

Comfortable beds and quiet location

Some of the light bulbs needed replacing.
