Location and very clean

The cottage is lovely it's our second time at the bay we stayed in an apartment last time it was a little small but cosy it was nice having 2 bedrooms this time. The kids LOVE going swimming twice a day. The beds are very comfortable and we had lots of space the bedding and towels were very clean you could smell them beautiful

We were a little disappointed that there didn't seem to be a grill,pizza cutter or pizza tray seemed to have everything else. Most things were pretty clean but I did have to wash cups and glasses before use 😔 unfortunately they were very dirty

Perfect space for our mini break. Beds were so comfy, one night we all slept 10 hours!!! A bag of tea and coffee, biscuits and cleaning products were left which was super handy!

Lovely spacious home, good location at the site close to the leisure centre and easy parking. The house is to a very good standard and has all the equipment you might need for an easy stay.

The curtains are very thin, lets a lot of light in especially going in the summer months. Take a black out blind if you can

The layout and space was really good for our family of 4. Good wardrobe and storage space. Only having 1 bathroom meant there was more space. The kitchen contents were great for a family of four and we had good cooking utensils.

These are minor points that would improve the stay and we did contact the owner direct. The boiler had a fault so no hot water multiple times. The curtains in the bedrooms were thin so young children woke very early. The shower screen wasnt wide enough for the rain shower so the bathroom floor always got really wet. Parking was a challenge, no specified parking spot so it could be a hard to park close to the house.

Great location for exploring the East coast. Lovely well equipped modern house with 2 bedrooms. My 9 year old daughter loved going to the free on site swimming pool which you don't need to book, just turn up and swim.

It was quite a long walk to the beach, so we drove to Filey beach and parked on the sea front as we take chairs, tent and beach equipment with us onto the sand!
