Sunrise Cottage with on-site swimming and sauna

The property was very nice and just right for us. We loved it's location to the beach and in the evening the sun shone nicely on the garden at the rear.

Lovely holiday village. The property is immaculate, furnished to a very high standard and very well appointed. So good I could have just moved in.

Great location. Lovely accommodation. Everything you need here. The grounds were immaculate and a great location for walking to the beach. Filey is only a few minutes drive too and plenty of other locations to visit locally.

The wife and daughter said a long mirror would have been helpful in the cottage.

Internet not working. 2 very unhappy kids dragging us out of property all the time so could use internet. More mirrors needed.

Great location and not far from the beach. The kids loved the garden area to the rear. Me and my wife could relax and watch the kids play safely

I want to stress we loved it and are likely to book again. The only thing was not having a designated parking space. I had to park at the side of the road which reception said would be ok but it wasn’t ideal unpacking the car… there were plenty of spaces probably enough for 1 per house but all taken. Maybe one house had more than one car. Again, this wasn’t a major issue. I sat and watched people jumping into spaces as people went out, we left ours where it was for the weekend. The bedroom with the 2 single beds could benefit a black out blind. My 5 year old was wide awake at 5am thinking it was 8am corn flake time! The second night we hung a towel up which helped.

Lovely complex and location. Beds were comfy and the living space inside and was great. Ample free parking.

The property was very dirty. Thick in dust and smelt very fusty. No heating or hot water on arrival which was quickly resolved after contacting the owner, who confirmed the property has not been cleaned prior to our arrival. We had to fully clean the whole Property before family members arrived who suffer with asthma and allergies. The property was cleaner on our way out then arrival. Kitchen ware was dirty. Everything had to be cleaned before use. Curtains are ripped. Bedding had pen and make up all over it and didn’t smell fresh. Bathroom furnishings are rusty and dirty. Toilet seat broken and filthy. Bathroom has dirty splashes on the walls. Spilt hot drinks marks in the living room on the skirting boards, walls, radiator. The sofas have never been moved and the floor swept for a long time. The internet did not work, could not access Netflix, or connect any devices. (Unable to upload all the pictures, will only allow 4!)
