Wind Breeze Sunset View Inn

It was a marvelous stay. Such a beautiful cute hotel , just in a private beach facing the sunset the famous bikini beach just minutes away, the boat equally minutes away. I had a wonderful room, very big, great bed, great bathroom, many towels for the beach as well, fridge... everything. I loved the breakfast and the owner and staff were so friendly , so attentive, so kind and so generous I am glad I chose this island as it was quiet and traditional. The bikini beach was the best, I really miss it now. Just many many thanks for everything.itvwasclike paradise.

The facilities were clean and property has air conditioning and hot water. They are very accommodating; our first room didn’t have hot water so they changed us to a different room which had hot water. They also offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner, which is extremely delicious every time. The staff are very friendly and especially the guy from Bangladesh, he is an excellent chef. He does everything from cleaning to cooking and he keeps the hotel in order. The outside patio is amazing. Overall we feel welcome here and comfortable. It’s hard to leave the place.

A suggestion would be to have air conditioning in the living room. It’s a really nice hangout area but it gets hot without the air conditioning.

There is no balcony as the meaning of balcony 😅

A very bright, modern, newly refurbished and cleaned to the perfection accommodation. Extremely helpful staff at arrival by the ferry and at a every need you have. Great offers for sightseeing tours and activities. They can provide day activities for all ages. Salaam can share with you a very high quality pictures and drone videos of what you enjoyed above the water and under the water. In the whole what a beautiful island and neighbourhood area, especially the longest sandbanks with its sugarwhite sand and crystal clear turquoise water. Very easy access to the nearest islands, not far from Male. Tickets cost 2 dollas by ferry.

Great location, very helpful staff and the excursions were fantastic value for money. We had a BBQ on the beach the first night we arrived, taken to a small island and had our fish cooked in front of us, it was amazing! The underwater photos taken whilst snorkelling and then drone pictures on the sandbank were fantastic. Would definitely recommend.

The breakfast was very limited and as there were not many restaurants around/open (maybe due to Ramadan), we struggled to find food.

Personnel attentif

To pay 5% more because I paid with a credit card. Those resorts, if they want people to stay more than one day should make some equipment available, like kayak, snorkeling gear, etc. so that the guests wouldn't have to pay a lot of money each time they want to go to the sea. The owner should fix things that are broken, otherwise the place will go down. Never saw the owner in a week.

BEWARE This is some scam operation. On Google maps there is a note that the hotel with such name is closed. We arrived there first to be taken to some place a distance away. The place smelt badly and did not look clean. We refused it. Then they took us to an even worse place that basically had no windows. None of the places was marked in any way or had a name. We refused to stay in the second place too and begun our attempts to contact Booking. When the chief of this scam realised it he took us to a hotel next door which was actually of acceptable standard so we stayed there. For scanty breakfast (worse we had) he told us to come to the other run down property garden. This experience made us feel very uncomfortable especially that we red the reports that t he person who runs this “scam” is known for criminal activity. We were relieved to leave. It’s beyond our comprehension how the owners managed to collect reviews on booking and how they operate to obviously remove the real reviews. It also puts doubts on how Booking operates.

Stayed for 5 nights. Staff are welcoming and caring. They have everything you need for a vacation, just ask. Location is one minute to the ocean, 15 min (walk and swim) to a coral reef.

If there is something you may not like just remember you are on the small island! You are on a budget and it is a specific climate!
