Vinchella-3 bedroom caravan

Parking space right next to the caravan, open plan very large livingroom/ dining area, and kitchen. Everything provided, airfryer, microwave, toaster, cooker, fridge freezer, kettle. All extremely clean tea towels washing up liquid etc provided. Beds clean and rooms fresh smelling TVs in all 3 rooms with YouTube which kept the kids happy during down time. Bathroom with toilet, sink and shower, but also a separate toilet which came in handy. Free WiFi, Netflix etc available. Shops and activities very close by, about 2 mins stroll. Reasonably priced for time allowance given. Wild rabbits seen under caravan which the kids loved. Large grassy area in front of caravan for shared use, enjoyed by the kids in the evenings and quick walks for the dog throughout the day. I think haven missed out on a dog minding service, I would have happily paid £20 for someone to watch my dog for an hour while we did some family activities together.

Chippy was a bit nasty and expensive for what you got. Food tasted like it was cooked in old oil, 3 very small fish n chips, 1 sausage n chips £54. A few people walked out after seeing food through the glass after we'd ordered.

The area and the place is so beautifull

The park were not ready for a lot of people but it has been easter weekend, so they should be prepared

Good location of South Lakes / Yorkshire Dales areas. Nice caravan. Spoke with the owner to sort some issues out between us which he was superb to speak to and we came to an amicable agreement. Not everything is an issue just chatting with people can create a good outcome.

Can I just stress. Not the owners fault at all and out of their control. We booked for 2 nights. First night came and went as we arrived, had a meal etc. Next day my girls wanted to go swimming. The caravan is privately owned but situated on a National Haven Leisure site. Just to take the girls swimming for an hour, they wanted basically £100 off me, and yes that gets you into the complex, evening entertainment for 3/4 nights etc etc ..... but we were only there for 1 night (1st night had passed). My little one was crying. I sourced a local pool and drove 15 miles away to get the swim in (Thank you Dalton Leisure Centre) (£14 I think it was!) By the way Haven don't do 1 or 2 nights passes.

Great hosts couldnt have done more for us. Pleasant smaller type of caravan. 3 bedrooms. Highly recommended. Has everything you need. Good size fridge and freezer. Airfryer fullsize cooker and a microwave.

Cleaner not done what he or she should have but no reflection on the hosts or the caravan.
