Lokal Hut Bed and Breakfast

The bathroom wasn't very clean and there was a lack of water pressure.

We received such a warm welcome from the staff at Lokal Hut, nothing was too much trouble and they assisted with everything from picking us up from the airport to arranging transfers to Port Barton. The property was very clean and comfortable and we really enjoyed our stay!

The location off the main road reduced noise a lot. It is right next to the Best Western but far better value! The BnB is built around a garden courtyard which reduces the heat - I particularly liked the little lettuce garden! Clean drinking water was available - I never had to buy water once in the country, which was a big surprise to me! The staff were exceptionally friendly and I enjoyed my lengthy conversation with them after checking out.

Very cozy and friendly atmosphere, you feel like you are part of the local hut family during your stay. Perfect location to explore the nearby main street with restaurants etc. by foot.

The showers could have more pressure and the hot water system could be improved - but actually that is almost everywhere the case on Palawan.
