Allure Suites of Fort Myers

The property was not worth my stay in Fort Myers. The pool was dirty, the hot tub was out of order, the fitness room was under construction and the dishwasher in the room was broke. We were given a handicapped accessible room which we didn’t ask for nor expect since we’re not handicapped. The elevator was stuck in between the floors about 8 inches which caused my husband to fall when exiting. There’s no ice machines in the floors you have to go to the front desk to get it. The whole housekeeping team quit the day we checked in so no towels, missing items in room and room not as cleaned as we expected it to be. Our stay was just horrible. So we didn’t like anything about our stay.

The only things good were the unit was spacious and quiet. It was large for what I paid and the location was ok.

The overall building is pretty gross. The pool was absolutely disgusting and un useable. It was like swamp water and hadn't been cleaned at all. The hot tub was closed by the department of health. There were several hairs in the bathroom from a previous guest. Cheap junky window blinds no blackout curtains.

Layout of the suite was nice - if things were updated and working.

Dirty - stained carpets, funky smell, stained sheets. Generally old and needed updating. You got one towel per person for a three day stay. No top sheet on bed or blanket - just a bottom sheet and a worn out bedspread. Light over the shower did not work and our relatives had no exhaust fan in their bathroom. Caution tape around the hot tub - not that we would have used it due to the look of the water.
