De Vere Cotswold Water Park

Location was perfect, breakfast and lunch all excellent.

We thought the bathrooms needed an upgrade now, walk in showers are more appropriate, basin and toilet are looking a bit dated.

The staff were great, very polite and efficient. Beautiful surroundings.

The building is very tired. The bathroom door was damaged and peeling, loose tiles and peeling sealant around the bath, stains on the room carpet and bed runner. Lots of chips in the paint on the skirting and door frames. No aircon in the rooms. It would rate as a 3 star, not a 4 star.

Location next to lake was good, with some pleasant walks nearby. Plus the location being near to Cirencester.

We were on the top floor and the lift was out of operation. We were not informed when we booked in. We are both in our 70's

Very spacious, clean and comfortable room. Nice view of the lake. Good breakfast.

Wine prices in the bar were pretty extortionate.

Wonderful breakfasts Very comfortable bed. Enjoyed sitting outside our room, overlooking the lake with cup of tea. A lovely room.

We booked because the hotel had a swimming pool. It wasn't until we'd paid that there was an extra cost if we wished to use the pool.
