15 mins to Princes Street Spacious Lakeside Home with Free Parking

Flat was lovely, and the location was good

Xiaoling is a fantastic host, being very quick to respond to any questions from the time of booking right up until the trip itself, and also being more than happy to generously accommodate for our arrival check in as well as departure time, which meant so much more ease for us attending a wedding on time. It is an excellent, spacious apartment that was perfect for a family trip. The living room and its sofa bed can essentially function as an extra bedroom (due to being separate from the kitchen) which basically makes this property 3 bedrooms (and two bathrooms) which was perfect for my trip, as it meant everyone could have their own space. The apartment is easy to find on the ground floor, and it being tucked into the corner of the complex means that the windows aren't as heavily overlooked by passers by. The key box was an easy collection (information and photos sent over on day of stay to be able to locate them efficiently). The parking was an added bonus, and it was very easy to park and find a space. Also a huge appeal of the flat is its affordability, which is nice to see - especially since there was no other comparable hotels or apartments for my trip for the same price. This combined with the excellent host definitely makes it somewhere I will stay again should I need to!

Location. Appreciate that the host had left some fresh fruits and cookies for us.

No heating, so very cold inside, even though it was June. no hot water in the bathroom or kitchen sinks. Host totally unresponsive to several messages. Non functional internet service.

Easy parking, and check in. Light, airy and spacious. Accessible with mobility scooter, Good washing machine and drying rack available, Not too far (15 mins walk) to local Aldi and pubs that have food in Leith.

There was no shower gel etc in the separate bathroom and it only had a bath and no shower attachment. There was a step up to the shower in the ensuite which could be a problem for someone with mobility issues. Our group member could manage it. Only one pillow each in second bedroom and you rolled into the middle but ok for a couple of nights.

Spotlessly clean, nice, cosy and plenty of space for my family of 6 with kids, and free parking which is a plus in Edinburgh! Plenty of linens and towels with extra ones prepared for us even if it was a last minute booking. It has well equipped kitchen with all essentials utensils to cook our own meals. It has 2 showers and a bath too which allow all adults and kids to get washed quickly. Tesco and Sainsbury’s are short walk away and we got some dinner stuff in the convenience store outside the flat. It is right next to a bus stop and very easy to get to all the touristy sites. Easy and hassle-free check in, excellent communication and wonderful host. We came with an electric car and she suggested us where to charge it and gave us great suggestions of places to visit and travel tips etc. She also left coffee, tea and cookies etc for us, which is a lovely gesture.

Pillows

Good location served well by public transport. Clean and plenty of linen and utensils.

A 2nd shower over the bath would be good if more people staying but wouldn’t stop us staying there again.

The location and the parking

The sofabed is half broke and very uncomfortable the sleep. Iron board is broken couldn't use it but we had to iron some cloths so had to find a way to do it. There was a wire connection wich was very unsafe.
