Charming 2 bedroom property

The location is great Very cosy, and full of character Gorgeous bathroom upstairs

This time of year the sun is rising early in the morning and the blinds have big gaps down the sides so as soon as it starts getting light the room is so bright

It was pretty and well appointed

Sofa’s are very low and we are old so we couldn’t get up from them if we sat on them. But would have been fine for younger people. Also no toilet on the same for as the bedrooms

Great location to everything. Very comfortable & warm.

Maybe handrail or hand grip on stairs to upper bathroom… a little scary at first but then ok.

Unfortunately, the Host did not support us as he should have, responding late to messages. The night we arrived we found the house very cold, with only 13 degrees. It was not possible to operate the boiler, which had gone on lockout, because the room in which it is located was padlocked. We therefore slept in the cold and woke up in the cold. Finally at 8:30, after another phone call to the host, someone showed up to help us. I expected a written apology, a message to know how we were doing, but instead nothing. I think it can happen that the boiler goes down, but it is the host's duty to check that everything is working and, if it is not, to do everything to find a remedy. It is not just a matter of renting a house, you have to give a service.

This was a very well-appointed, cozy little railway cottage. The beds were comfortable, the property made the most of the space available and it was a very convenient base-camp for visiting relatives over Christmas, beautifully decorated for the season.

The only minor difficulty with this property was the need to navigate one of two narrow staircases at night to access the bathroom, and the difficulty of opening the main bathroom door from the inside - particularly for the taller member of our party. These are very minor things in an otherwise excellent space.

Great location very clean and homely. A nice touch was the Christmas decorations. Very much home from home.

Nothing not to like. We had a slight issue with a fuse blowing but it was remedied with a phone call. I might suggest it would be a good idea to put the location of the fuse box in the manual as you will never find it without directions.

Cosy, clean and in a fantastic location.
