Relais Maresca Luxury Small Hotel & Terrace Restaurant

My husband and I stayed at Relais Maresca for our honeymoon. This is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at! First of all, the location is perfect - right in Marina Grande so it is walking distance from the harbor. It's also next to the ticket center, to the Funicolare, bus stations, and taxies so it was easy to get anywhere we needed to go on the island. A public beach and beach club are also just a short walk down from the hotel. The views from the hotel are spectacular as it faces Marina Grande. The staff at the hotel were incredible - all of them from the manager, to the front desk/concierges, restaurant staff, and cleaning service were committed to making our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. As the end of our stay, the bellhop even helped us to carry our baggage to the ferry port. Everyone was very hospitable and friendly. We felt very well taken care of! We really enjoyed the restaurant as well - the selection of Italians breads and cakes at breakfast time were impressive! You could smell them baking so we knew they were fresh and homemade. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and clean with a lovely terrace to enjoy the sea view (we highly recommend choosing a room with a view!). Overall, we highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay in Capri! It's so worth it!

The hotel is on the more expensive side. Capri itself is very expensive. Even water is 6 euros a bottle so it is definitely a pricey trip. Bring bug spray as there are mosquitoes on the terrace.

I made mistake booking this place because location on Google map showed 700 meters walking to fashion promenade.

Does it fit with 4 star standards and price doesn't worth

The location is excellent

The standard room with internal view is an old, out dated room NOT luxury and NO VIEW - they need the stop advertising that the room has any sort of view as it has no view or outlook whastover - the description is deceptive. It is far from 4 star luxury. There is a small window, which opens to a brick wall lined with fake greenery within half an arms distance from the window. The bedroom is distasteful, and cannot fit two suitcases - one suitcase has to go in the bathroom. It is very expensive for what it is. The sea view rooms have a spectacular view and much better space, but there are better places to stay for the money.
