Royal Residence in Old Town

The positive reviews about this apartment surprised me very much. Indeed, kitchen and bathroom are clean. The owner told me that most guests only stay for 1 or 2 nights, as Bratislava is not very big. I guess most stays are too short to judge the apartment properly. I stayed 7 nights and discovered more and more very dirty and worn elements. I literally sank through the cozy brown sofa in the pictures. Take a look under the cushions of the brown sofa (if it is still there). The owner told me that he knew about the sofa problem. But, as he said, “why replace it if nobody complains”. He ‘repaired’ the sofa with a wooden board….. The recliner is very worn and would be more in place in the junkyard. The floor was dirty and sticky. The double mattress has new bed sheets. However underneath you will find a very old and dirty mattress, full of “yellowish” stains….. Brrrr, disgusting. The owner offered me compensation of € 25 on a bill of € 615 for my stay in his ‘Royal’ Residence. Unbelievable. I guess I can’t do much about it, apart from writing this review. Hopefully it helps you to make a good decision.

Perfect location, very spacious and quiet at night.

We had a wonderful time in Bratislava!! The apartment was very good and stylish very comfortable and clean !It had all the comforts it was quite very warm and very easy to find it near the old town in good location .We are happy to visit it!!!!

The location was excellent, close to a number of restaurants and pubs. The accommodation was stylishly decorated to a high standard. It was warm and smelt nice.

Close to everything, but tucked away so very quiet. Excellent communication with owner. He has thought of everything to ensure an enjoyable stay. Everything spotlessly clean, well-equipped and very comfortable.

What a perfect place! It had everything we needed, but it was also beautifully decorated and spacious. Right in the heart of all the sights of Bratislava. We loved it. The helpful host made sure we enjoyed everything.

It was easy to get the keys. Excellent location Take the bus number 93 from the train station to get here (not the 83) so you don't have to walk much from the station to the hotel :) Super clean Super new and comfortable Very quiet area I was actually surprised, decoor was nice and we got complimentary coffee :) nice extra Lovely apartment Thank you

Only minus is that I dislike check.outs at 10 :) is too early.
