Loved the Location, so close up the Gaylord and especially easy with the back entrance. Great amenities, wonderful air con. Coffee maker with pods, free bottles of water in fridge.

Only slight thing was the mattress was quite firm but just because I’m used to a soft one. Personal preference.

Wonderful hosts, friendly, kind. The room was lovely, clean, and comfy. LOCATION NOTE: IF you are staying here SPECIFICALLY to be adjacent to the Gaylord Resort, it's a bit tricky. They ARE located about a 4 minute walk to the resort, BUT it's the loading dock and employee entrance. (south side of everything) We were not able to enter there, and had to walk way around the parking lot, parking garage, and then into the far conference room/ballroom area. In the heat, loaded with gear for the day, it was a lot. It was a $9-15 Uber one way, most of the time. Walking BACK to the room was easier, the hostess showed me landmarks to easily find the gate, which was in their backyard. Also note that I don't think Ubers like picking hires up from the Gaylord for this location, because they have to go ALLLLLL the way up and around the "bay area" to get to the property, as it's in a gated area not accessible by direct roads. So a 1 mile "as the crow flies" distance is a 15 minute drive. We did have an Uber take a short-cut through the parking lots and bring us to the loading dock, but he didn't adjust the $26 original fare. (high demand evening, eyeroll) Again, LOVELY property, but you would be better off paying a bit more to stay in that little Nat'l Harbor area if convenience and shorter walks were best for your needs, OR had your own car and didn't care about parking costs/hassle.

The owner was very nice! The room was very cozy and just what I needed to stay at during my conference at a much lower rate than the neighboring hotels. It was just a 10 minute walk to the Gaylord and I felt safe the entire walk.

The property was located right next to the conference centre we attended. Although you couldn’t drive a direct route to the centre there was a handy cut through in the garden so you could walk through to the Gaylord centre in minutes. The owner and his wife were extremely accommodating and went over and above to help us and make our stay very comfortable. We felt very at home, had our privacy but could always ask for anything we needed. The owner was so kind as to drive us to collect a hired car and provided us with lots of information. He also kindly jump started the car when we stupidly ran the battery down! The room and bathroom was lovely and the surrounding area well kept and pleasant. The bed was huge and extremely comfortable. Nice hot shower and lovely fresh soft towels. The TV was a good size and there was coffee making facilities, a kettle, full size fridge and a microwave. We asked to borrow some cutlery and this was immediately provided. For a private property right in the centre of Washington harbour next to the Potomac it couldn’t have been better. Thank you

The bed was very high and I needed to climb on a chair to get into bed as I'm very short! This may have been a problem for someone less agile. It was worth the climb as the bed and linen was lovely and very comfortable. As a microwave and fridge is provided a couple of plates and some cutlery would have been nice but we asked and it was immediately provided.

The location was excellent for the convention center. The room is very cozy. The host is an amazing person. I loved the whole experience.

Good location (Gaylord Hotel just across the street - some 7min walk to the main entrance), clean, good shower, very comfortable bed and very very friendly and supportive host. Tanger outlet is just 5min drive. The host can drive you from and to airport, outlet, or else. Recommend!

The host is amazing guy. Smiling and extremely welcoming. The room was big and well equipped. Nice coffee machine inside. The house is located 10 mins from the Gaylord convention center's main hall by foot. If our event is in the same place next year, will certainly call again

The only downside is that the path and gate towards the convention center is not very clean (as it passes trough the trees), but this is a very very minor complaint. By not clean I mean that there is soil from the trees, not that it is not maintained great.
