Beautiful house in a nice little town .

Very nicely decorated Great location and garden. Warm and comfortable.

Felt we needed more cups and cooking stuff and more fridge space when catering for a full group of 11 over the festive period .

The location was excellent. I loved the pillows on my bed. There was a welcome bottle of wine.

The house is an old building and been renovated at some point it is a listed building so all the rooms were spread UP over at least 5 flights of stairs. With kitchen on the ground up to bedroom up to sitting room and 2 more bedrooms and up again to further 2 bedrooms. Not for the feint hearted sadly I had not picked this up when booking. The single glazed sash windows allowed enough of a draft to move pictures on the wall in the sitting room and the box sectional sofa was not suitable for anyone with a bad back . If I was younger and fitter I would have loved it but I am not and I did not. Our enjoyment was further hampered by a Smart tv that was so loud we had to Google how to use the controller to turn the volume down. We never mastered how to watch mainstream TV anything we did watch was done via the app settings thankfully this was only a minor inconvenience.

The location for Kirkcudbright town was great

The details indicate four bathrooms . So one of our party had to share. There are in fact only two. One en suite, one adjacent to a bedroom. There are four toilet wash basins . There were only three of us but we understood we would each have a private bathroom. If the house was at capacity (8) two bathrooms is a stretch.

The house is decorated beautifully and was perfect for our family (6 adults, 4 kids, 1 dog). Enclosed garden was great too. The location is fantastic, with lots of cafes and shops etc literally on the doorstep. Kitchen was well equipped, and we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Would absolutely return for future holidays, and would definitely recommend to friends and family

The hot water failed for us halfway through our stay, but the owner was very efficient at solving the problem for us and we had no further issues.

Really lovely property. Different levels so you have some privacy if in groups. Top level is perfect if you have younger kids as there is a baby gate and splits that floor off into its own mini level. Spotlessly clean and comfortable, great communication from owners, perfect for a larger family / group. Tesco just begging the property and lots of eateries, if wanting to eat out book in advance as can be busy.
