The house was excellent, loads of room for everyone, and spotlessly clean. Everything that we required was available. The welcome bottle of wine and chocolates always adds to that special touch of thought. All bedrooms were great, and everyone commented on how comfy the beds were. The garden was enclosed, with ample seats for everyone, especially when the sun was out all weekend. There were lots of places in the surrounding area to visit,i.e., coffee shops, bars and restaurants. Having the local supermarket about 1 minute walk around the corner was added bonus. Not associated with the house, but at the end of the lane, there was a local bowling club whom we would like to give a big thank you . We asked if we could play (no one in our group has ever tried). They were so helpful, provided bowls, and really welcomed us. Absolutely fab afternoon, finished off with some beers. The round of golf was played at the local golf club on our 1st day, in Kirkcudbright, great course and fabulous lunch provided.

The house is beautifully decorated and the owners have put a lot of thought in to what their guests will want/need. Fully recommend, thank you very much.

The design and decoration of the property is amazing, as well as the location.

Not the property in particular but the customer service was disappointing. When we arrived at the property at 4:30pm, it had not been cleaned from the last tenants. I contacted the owner who prefusely apologised and said as a gesture of good will, they would cover the cost of our meal whilst it was being cleaned and would transfer the money over the next day once I sent them the bill. So me and my Family (party of 10) went to the local pub to get some food. The Bill came to £192.40 (which for a party of 10 coming to £19.24 per head, I deemed reasonable). I sent the receipt to the owner as they asked me to do so. It took a week to get any money back which came to £78.35. This covered the cost of the drinks but not the meal which was agreed in their original gesture of good will. Although still a nice gesture to refund some money, it did not cover what was originally agreed and the timeframes of when we would be refunded were not met.

This is a beautiful home in an excellent location and is very well equipped for a large group of people. There are loads of things to do in and around the area for people of all ages (our family age range was 9-76 years).
