Sunset View at The Dovecote

The property is a stunning family home in a beautiful sleepy village. Shoes had to be taken off at the door, understandably so with luxury cream carpets under your feet. You were given your own key to the house and your room and could come and go as you please. The room had a TV, internet access, tea and coffee facilities, mini fridge, iron and board, hairdryer, towels and flannels. The bath was to die for!! Hosts were friendly but not in your face considering it was their home. Definitely a romantic, relaxing or mother/daughter get away. I stayed with my adult daughter for some much needed piece and quiet. We visited Kinema in the Woods, Spa Trail, The Bakery & Delicatessen Ltd, Montebello Ristorante and Bicycles & Coffee Cafe in Hornchurch, all of which were absolutely amazing and highly recommended. Heading back home to Stoke we popped in to The Leagate Inn, Coningsby which is definately worth a visit for a fabulous breakfast.

If I had to nit pick I'd say to make the most of the feature bath and provide some luxury bubble bath. Also, just to make customers aware, I struggled with my phone internet in the village and surrounding areas but my daughter didn't. I am with Vodafone and my daughter is with O2.

View, top quality bed, space, fridge.

Wonderful room in delightful house. Large room with en suite. Close for my travels to Tattershall church and castle. Also East Kirkby Lancaster museum was a short drive. Lincoln international Bomber Command Centre was about 30 minutes.

The rain didn't know when to stop.

Excellant accommodation . Quaint Village pub close by. Great location for exploring the nearby attractions.

Sunset View is a beautiful home. The room was spacious and clean.

It is quite remote, and with no facilities to prepare food guests are forced to eat out. There is only one pub nearby, otherwise you have to drive to the nearest town which is Woodhall Spa.

Beautiful accommodation inside and out. Able to make use of the lovely peaceful garden overlooking open fields as weather very nice. Perfect spot for relaxation at Tina and Dave's home and in its location. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Ebrington Arms pub two mins walk from accommodation serving food (and Timothy Taylor beer to our delight!) plus a very varied menu for dogs! Around ten mins or under to drive to lovely Woodhall Spa, small but really nice to browse, eat and drink, visit Kinema in the Woods and Jubilee Park. Lincolnshire Wildlife Park around 30 mins drive away, a really enjoyable visit for us and ARK Wildlife Park which we didn't have time to visit. Overall a lovely visit in every respect and highly recommend The Dovecote.
