Off Beat Safaris Bush Lodge

We were the only guests, and were given a free upgrade to the chalet with private pool. The host and gardener were also very kind and helpful. We greatly enjoyed spotting smaller wildlife from the hide out during the sunset and sunrise, and the peace and quiet of the stay. During the night we were visited by a honey badger twice that tried to get into the cupboards and fridge, some excitement for sure!

First of all I didn't event sleep at that place, hence i sent emails to request a refund. The place was horrible that my holiday was a disaster. The beds are children's bed, toilets and bathroom outside the rooms, you must go out at night while you are in the bush. The worst scenario, the toilets are not covered its like a cow kraal. We have to go back to town to look for alternative accommodation. PLEASE HELP ME GET A REFUND EVEN IF IT MEANS I PAY A PENALTY I AM WILLING BECAUSE I DIDNT STAY THERE. I SEND THE LADY IN CHARGE A MESSAGE ABOUT THE SITUATION AND REQUESTED A REFUND, BUT SHE TOLD TO TALK TO BOOKING.COM, HENCE IM REQUESTING ASSISTANCE TO BE REFUNDED.

It was peaceful and quite, exactly what I wanted.

the atmosphere was amazing

very relaxing, the chalets are well positioned distant away from one another giving guests all sense of privacy

locating the property from Town is a little mission impossible, no directions boards. all other stuff is exceptional

The road to the location is terrible. Not what ww expected from the pictures on the website

Loved it that it was totally rustic with no "mod cons" so one could totally relax & enjoy to get the full bush experience

Beautiful huts and friendly hosts. Got an upgrade because of availability and a hyena that was in the park currently. So, wildlife is close by, which is great!

The train was very loud when passing by, also at night.
