Seafront apartment with balcony, parking and sea views

This apartment is huge! It was just me and the dog but could easily have 2 couples in there or a family. The stunning sea view, right on South beach was lovely enjoying a coffee in the morning in the window.

There's not much to say here, umm... It was really warm when I arrived. But I just turned the thermo stat down. Is that really an issue though, haha

Lovely views from the living room. Beds were well presented.

It sounded like there was a herd of elephants in the flat upstairs at all hours of the day and night. Guests are advised to be quiet after 11pm, but the upstairs neighbours weren't. The bedroom at the back of the flat is too cold to sleep in. The radiator doesn't heat the room up well enough. There were no instructions on how to operate the heating. The balcony is not a selling point. It's a cursory area at the side of the flat with no decent view. Some of the furnishings were tired and in need of replacement or repair: the curtains were half hanging off, and the dining room chairs had presumably seen better days.

Spacious with seafront views and easy access to beach, town and castle.

Great location on the sea front. Flat was lovely and clean.

Kitchen could do with a few more pans and a teapot.

Location was good

The furniture and bed could really do with an update, as everything felt quite well-used, especially the bed and mattress. Unfortunately, the apartment was also very noisy. We stayed on the middle floor, and the occupants above (likely the owners) had a clock that chimed EVERY hour throughout the day and night, which we could clearly hear from our apartment. In addition, there was a lot of heavy walking overhead late into the night—on our second night it continued until 3:30am. These disturbances happened on both nights of our stay and resulted in very poor sleep.

The location was spectacular - right across from the sea, with plenty of free parking on the long marine drive, on your door step. Hosts were lovely, very prompt in replying and were more than happy to accommodate our request for an early check in, which was very much appreciated. House itself had all the facilities you would expect. Beds were super comfy and everything was super clean.

Not sure if this would fall under this property's remit, but there was a very musty, damp smell in the hallway and stairs.
