Country Cottage in Papa Bay

Nice remote tiny house with everything you need.

We had quite some mosquitos out on the veranda and once a neighbors dog came a little bit too excited to us.

It was very private and cozy. Very relaxing vibes. Kitchen was all equipped and water was all prepared.

No AC, too small sink for the bathroom, some insects were found but considering the location, it's understandable.

Super süßes Cottage. Wäre gern länger geblieben. Hat alles was man braucht.

We loved this cottage so much! Immaculately clean, the cottage has everything one could want - a super comfortable bed, a fantastic shower, a great galley kitchen area, a screened-in porch, fans, device charging outlets. The area is quiet and peaceful. We loved falling asleep to the sounds of the frogs at night. The hosts are very responsive, answering questions, letting us borrow snorkels and goggles. Highly recommend this booking. We would happily stay there again. P.S. Disregard an old review about bugs. The place is immaculate. Just remember to keep door closed and all will be more than wonderful.

Adorable little house with nicely-finished interior. Exterior looks nice too. Ocean view, great sunsets, great "coqui music" to fall asleep to. Nice lanai with two comfortable chairs. Nice touches to make one's stay comfortable; e.g., a big jug of drinking water is provided.

A little too far off the beaten path. The nearest good restaurant is KaiLoki’s, 15 minutes away. The nearest KTA market is 40 minutes away. House feels a little too small for a family of 3 (bumping into each other from time to time). Size would be fine for only two people. Non-standard staircase is difficult to climb; it goes to a loft bedroom that has a low ceiling (can't stand upright). Off-grid electrical system does not support use of a hairdryer. There is no microwave oven (probably for two reasons: would draw too much electrical power, and there isn't really room for one in the small kitchen).

Ein sehr einfaches Häuschen für 2 Personen. Alles war vorhanden, was für 1 Woche gebraucht wird. Die Terrasse war richtig schön. Die Unterkunft liegt abgelegen, so dass es wunderbar ruhig war ganz gemütlich

Die „Treppe“ nach oben ist sehr anstrengend zu benutzen, da die Stufen viel zu hoch sind

Such a cute place, no directly visible neighbours, everything needed is there, beautiful sunset view over the ocean, and the self-sustaining aspect of using solar energy was cool. We also loved the efficient layout of the place. Great value for money, ideal for a few days retreat in nature. We wish we had stayed longer to fully enjoy the cottage.

We did encounter two cockroaches during our stay, but we know this is simply inevitable in such tropical countries so we did not let this impact our grading. Simply be aware that it can happen and that it is normal for such a cottage in the nature.
