Wondrously made, warm, stunning, enchanting, comfortable and safe. Countryside feel and 10 minute drive to Canterbury and Whitstable!

Light in outdoor toilet didn’t work and also the door didn’t lock properly—easy fixes

The Yurt was stunning and exactly as shown in the photographs. There was a lovely little log fire which warmed the place up in no time. It’s located in a secluded part of the property and was so peaceful. There was a big storm when we stayed with exceptionally strong winds but the Yurt stayed warm and dry.

Unfortunately due to high winds we were not able to use the outside cooking facilities, we tried but the wind just kept blowing it out. This was completely out of the hosts control but Maybe some extra shelter around the cooking facilities would help with this, we wasn’t able to make dinner and gave up cooking breakfast so left early to find a hot meal.

This is our 2nd time at the Yurt. Each time we go something has been added and improved. This time the kitchen has a roof and the sink in the kitchen has running water. We used the fire this time and got the place toasty warm. Look forward to visit 3!

Some of the wood was a bit damp, but that was sorted as soon as I raised it.

Beautiful little yurt with fantastic facilities- definitely a luxury camping experience- shower was fantastic, the apple juice produced from their own apples was delicious, as was the butter, eggs and milk which were left for us. Sleeping in the yurt whilst it was raining was very relaxing, and the stove inside the yurt heats the place up really fast. The bed is really comfortable and the lights inside and outside the yurt are a lovely touch.

There was nothing we didn’t like- the only thing that could be improved is that the cooking area could be under cover- it rained whilst we were there which meant trying to watch for a dry spot to use the hob. The area is also not actually fenced off, which could be problematic if you really need a secure area for a dog, but it was still a really lovely little corner of the farm- my only regret is that we aren’t there for a longer- we only stayed one night, but with some better weather we’d love to stay again.

Noise from A2 at times (it was rather a distant motorway noise, nothing that would keep you awake though).

We loved everything. The remote location but only a short car ride to get to Whitstable or Canterbury. The facilities were fantastic, well done to the owners as they seem to have thought of everything. The kitchen area is lovely for cooking and eating outdoors. We felt like we were in Greece, especially as we had beautiful sunny weather. We had the firepit on two nights, and it was fabulous sitting in the quiet with the fire crackling and blankets were provided. The shower was great. Our dogs loved to be able to wander around. The owner did say they are going to be adding a fence around to make it even more secure as well. We would love to go back and stay for longer.
