The Yurt at Worcesters Farm

An Amazing yurt , first time we ever stayed in one and glad we chose this one , so clean , comfortable , Jon was very welcoming , there was a gift of fresh eggs and lovely loaf of bread , milk and butter , was lovely to chill no tv, you can get 4g , but we decided to do without and completely chill . We was expecting a gas bbq but it was a gas hob but not a massive problem.

It not a negative but wasn’t fenced off for privacy even though no one came down to area to be honest , no taps in kitchen area which was explained by Jon , there was another sink available Like I say not things that didn’t like ,

Such a peaceful and relaxing place to stay. My boyfriend and I did 2 nights with our dog and had a wonderful time. The yurt has been decked out beautifully and with everything you need…so comfortable and cozy and some lovely creature comforts for a truly great glamping experience. The toilet and shower facilities were super clean and the shower surprisingly had great pressure and the water was nice and hot. We enjoyed doing a bbq outside on our first night too. The family running the farm we’re super welcoming and left us some lovely welcome treats…from fresh eggs and apple juice from the farm through to local bread, milk and butter. The yurt is the only one on the farm and tucked away at the end so it’s nice and peaceful. The area isn’t currently fenced off so if bringing your dog I’d suggest bringing a metal coil to screw into the ground and have them on a long line - that’s what we did it and it worked really well.

Everything was perfect. Staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble. We arrived to fresh bread, milk, eggs and location apple juice. Plenty of fire wood and the offer of more if we needed it. A bbq with gas and fire bits. Plenty of cutlery and everything we could possible need. It was perfect for the dogs as it was secure and safe for them to roam round. We have rebooked for July already.

Needed some more outside lighting such as fairy lights or lamps so we could have sat out even when it got dark but we were told the property was under going some changes so maybe this will be somthing they change.

The yurt and facilities were fabulous. The owners have thought of everything! Just a 10 min drive into Canterbury

I cannot fault anything

The Yurt was very comfortable and cosy. The kitchen area was well equipped with utensils and dinnerware. There was plenty of wood for the small log burner and the bed was very comfortable and warm. The yurt was very clean and tidy as was the outside sink and toilet.

The patio area was unfortunately unfinished and the bar b que wasn’t operational. Would have liked some soft seating ie beanbags inside the area.

Perfect for us , lovely surroundings, great to have the bbq
