Cosy and Fresh Seaside Home - Parking

Brilliant property location in Sheringham town, a few minutes walk to the beach.

A very narrow lane providing access to the property.

The location was excellent, Sheringham town was in walking distance. All expected facilities were available e.g. fridge/freezer, microwave, iron, hairdryer. We had no hot water on day of arrival. reported to Juliette. The next morning, first thing, a plumber arrived and replaced a part and all fixed efficiently.

The garden was dreadful, nothing like the promotional photo. Dirty, overgrown, unkempt, no seating. As mentioned by other reviews going back over a year! Sofa was unsteady due broken legs, armchairs very hard and uncomfortable (as mentioned by other reviews going back over a year!). Front bedroom had only a blind at the window, no curtains so daylight from dawn. TV was complicated to use, not even the 5 terrestrial channels available, only apps.

Beds were excellent. House is in a good spot for access to town

Seats in lounge were very uncomfortable There was a background odour of dogs downstairs.

Nice quiet location with car parking space for a small / medium car . About a 10 minute walk to seafront & town centre . Juliette was accessible with a couple of issues we had .

The carpet in the main bedroom and the flooring in the living room and hallway definitely hadn’t been hoovered and was visibly dirty throughout. There was an issue with the heating not working and we messaged the owner. We were contacted by phone telling us they could set it remotely. We next discovered there was no hot water ! After numerous contacts it transpired the boiler had been switched off. Juliette apologised for this & presumed the previous guests had switched it off and offered to get the cleaner back to do a re-clean . A lovely gesture but we were only there for a couple of nights so pointless! A nice little ex- council property which with more TLC could be a lot better !

Dirty, lots of broken items, not value for money

Beautiful little cottage, close to the beach and the high street but far enough away for peace & quiet, will be booking again x

Untidy backyard

Great location, good size cottage. Fully equipped kitchen and everything easy to work out, great communication from hosts and clear directions on what to do for check in and check out

Cleanliness could be improved,wardrobes were dusty, bottom oven was caked in black burnt food. Chairs in the living room are really not that comfy!
