Comfort Stay Apartment in the heart of Haywards Heath

The apartment is close to the High Street, the Super Market, etc. Easily accessible and parking was easy.

Missing a lot of basics, internet went out for a day and a half until we finally had to call the provider ourselves to get it resolved.

NOTHING HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE!!!!!! SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a scam. The apartment you book on booking.com is not what you pay for! Upon arrival the apartment was not ready and I was told to delay as the cleaners were running late. When I did arrived at the new agreed check in time. The door was open and clearly occupied by someone as belongings were in full view (shoes, keys, bags of clothes etc). I am a single lady on her own so clearly could not stay here. I left the building and called the owner. He said he was confused and there was no problem!!! I said I would send photos of the room so he could see. However when trying to send the photos the phone number became unavailable so the host was now uncontactable and I was left without accomodation I had paid for. Booking.com did not help in this matter in any way and would not investigate further despite this issue being flagged up before by other people!!!! I am so disappointed that Booking.com showed no concern about this issue and are clearly happy to support scammers such as these! I will never be booking through booking.com ever again.

The apartment contained the owner's personal belongings, dirty dishes, and an unpleasant odor. The ticket had clearly been poorly washed and had an unpleasant odor.

Would appreciate instructions for eg tv. Hob etc. some additional cleaning in areas. For price point would expect some extras - shampoo/shower gel perhaps some tea/coffee for arrival.

The apartment was cosy and well equipped. The location was good. It was very quiet.

We had advised we would be needing to use the sofa bed. There were no sheets to use on this bed and I informed the owner by message that we couldn't locate the bedding for this bed. He replied that the bedding was in the bedroom cupboard. Yes we did find a duvet and blanket but no sheets. I messaged the owner again to ask where the sheets were and received no reply. I also thought there was a washing machine which we couldn't locate. However there was a note on the wall to say the hours you could use the washing machine.

Great location, free on site parking, permit provided and easy access, bright airy building and apartment which is very clean and comfortable. Friendly communication and information from host, responds to any queries. This is our second stay here and recommend it.
