Wild Orchid- Lan Home

Lan was the best host we had during our 3 week trip in Vietnam. Very welcoming, speaks perfect english and overall super friendly. She cooked us a delicious family dinner and took us on a visit to a nearby village to meet a local family. It was truly an amazing experience getting to know some local people and learn about the way of life in a rural area. If you like connecting with locals and an authentic homestay with a super friendly host, look no further. We would definitely come back! If we could, we would rate 7/5 stars ;)

Lan is the sweetest host ever, we learned so much with her and she spends so much time with her guests. Everything is clean and the property is beautiful.

The area was a little more noisy than we expected.

I don't know where to start! This place is just incredible. The owner "Lan" greeted us with great joy and the perfect vibe after a day on the motorbike. This is not a hostel for big groups an party - more for enjoying the calm vibes of this mountain village and watching her goat "curry" doing goat stuff. The room was super cozy with moskitonets provided, spacious (double room) and decorations that showed her love for the details. We got so many recommendations for the town, the rest of the loop, and also for Vietnam in general. Lan speaks perfect English and has seen a lot of the Country. We were invited to cooking dinner together and that's exactly what we did :) Lan wants to make everyone feel like home and I think she is doing great at just that!

Lan and Jamie are the sweetest hosts you can imagine. They have created this wonderful little gem with so much dedication and love. The rooms have the best interior design I have seen, they have this wonderful mix of traditional and contemporary design, everything is chosen with attention to detail and combined in this beautiful style. The beds are very comfortable and the common areas are great for relaxing after doing the Ha Giang Loop. They are the only homestay left in town which doesn't accept the group tours, so if you are looking for a relaxed and lovely space away from the bigger crowds, absolutely do support them in what they do. Lan and Jamie are amazing and we have spent hours talking and chilling together and it have been some of the best conversations we had on our travels so far. This homestay was certainly one of the highlights of our motorbike tour. Thanks so much!

Lan and Jaime are THE hosts on the loop. This place has a really nice vibe. It is comfy and chill. If you have the luck to be a guest there you will want to stay more than one night...and you should!

The owner is so nice, excellent cooker, well adviser, helpfull…! The location is great the homestay is cosy and clean!
